Keith’s sister, Rachel, and her family came over yesterday and visited with us through this afternoon. It is so nice to have family living in Germany with us. They don’t get to come as often as any of us would like because of the distance, but it is so much fun when they do come.
The girls and Will are always so excited to see their family.
One thing that is for sure with two three year olds around is that you never know what will come out of their mouths.
We experienced a lot of funny moments with them during Rachel’s visit.
One of the funniest, though, was a very unexpected, off-the-cuff statement by EA.
The girls were sitting in the hallway with Rachel, myself, and Rachel’s daughter, Caroline.
Caroline was putting on her shoes and socks in preparation to leave. As she was putting on her sock, she commented, “Oh, this stinks!”
Without more than a second passing by, EA replies, “No, I think it was me. I have gas!” And then she stood up and walked into the living room.
Rachel and I looked at each other and almost died laughing!!

That is so funny!!! I couldn’t stop laughing. One time I bought gas pills for HUBBY at Walmart which set off the alarm as we left. They went thru my bag and yelled across the store, “it’s okay, it’s just gas pills!” As we walked to the car, dying of embarrassment, hubby looks at me and loudly says, “Gee, I hope this solves your gas problem!” I could have killed him!
